NGTC Proton breaks cover

Welch Motorsport's Proton Gen-2 has broken cover ahead of its British Touring Car Championship debut at Snetterton this weekend. The car, which has been built to the BTCC's cost-cutting NGTC regulations by John Welch's team, received its shakedown at a private location in Northamptonshire on Friday. Experienced tin-top racer Dan Welch, who will race the car at Snetterton, was behind the wheel.
