Smith begins work at Lotus

Mark Smith has begun work in his new role as technical director at Team Lotus, and declared that he believes the squad can eventually get into a championship-winning position. The former Force India technical chief signed for Lotus last June, but was unable to commence his new job until now due to his contractual commitments to his previous squad.
